As Chief of Staff at X Reality Safety Intelligence (XRSI), I have been dedicated to translating a vision for a safer digital future into actionable programs that shape the responsible development of immersive technologies worldwide. My work has been instrumental in establishing XRSI as a leading Standards Developing Organization (SDO) in the immersive technology space (See SDO Listing).


Program Leadership & Impact

Privacy & Safety Framework Development (PSF 2.0)

Contributed to the updated Privacy & Safety Framework 2.0, establishing comprehensive, open-source guidelines aligned with GDPR, NIST, and international standards.

Impact: Created the first globally recognized baseline rulebook for XR and updated guidance for new risks in immersive environments. Read Framework

XRSI Responsible Data Governance (RDG™)

As Project Manager, I led MVP development for the RDG™ program, providing a universal governance framework for organizations operating in XR and AI. The framework introduced the “Human Intelligence In The Loop™” assessment process.

Child Safety in the Metaverse

Drafting Lead for Standards Australia’s child safety guidance and contributor to XRSI’s Child Safety initiative, ensuring secure digital spaces for children.

Impact: Developed international guidance, contributed to ChildArt Magazine (Metaverse Edition), and influenced safer-by-design principles. Explore Initiative

Medical XR & Digital Health

Worked with the Medical XR Advisory Council (MedXRSI) to create privacy and safety protocols for XR in healthcare, collaborating with JMedXR and industry experts.

Key Project Leadership & Standards Development

NIST - Natural Authentication for Emergency Management AR Systems

Role: Lead Researcher

Conducted research in collaboration with NIST and the Cyber Battle Federation, developing recommendations for secure and usable authentication mechanisms in high-stakes emergency response AR systems.

Standards Australia - AS 5402:2025 Children's Safety in the Metaverse

Role: Drafting Lead

Led drafting efforts and coordinated expert input to create foundational international standards for child safety in immersive environments.
